This Cookie Policy explains how FashionDeck uses cookies, local storage and similar technologies, what each one is for, and how you can control them. It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy.
1. What cookies are
A cookie is a small text file a website asks your browser to store. It can be read back on later visits, which lets a site remember preferences or measure usage. Related technologies include localStorage (data stored in your browser that is never automatically sent to a server) and pixels (tiny images used for measurement). We refer to all of these collectively as "cookies" in this policy.
2. Cookies we use
Essential (always active)
These are required for the site to function and cannot be switched off. They store nothing that identifies you personally.
- Consent preference — remembers your cookie choices so we do not ask on every page.
- Security and load balancing — set by our hosting provider to serve pages reliably.
Preferences (localStorage)
Some tools remember your settings between visits — for example theme choice, a preferred quality slider position, or your most recently used tools. This information is written to your browser's localStorage. It stays on your device, is never transmitted to us, and is removed the moment you clear your browser data.
Analytics
We may use Google Analytics 4 to understand which tools are used, which pages are slow, and where visitors come from. These cookies collect aggregate, pseudonymous information: page views, referring source, approximate country, browser and device category, and session duration. IP addresses are anonymised. We do not use analytics data to identify individuals and we never sell it. Typical cookies: _ga, _ga_<id>, retained up to 24 months.
Advertising
This site may display advertising through Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies to serve ads, limit how many times you see the same ad, and measure ad performance. Where required by law, personalised advertising is only enabled after you consent; otherwise non-personalised ads are served. 3. What we never store
The content you put into our tools — images, PDFs, text, passwords, numbers — is processed entirely in your browser. It is never written to a cookie, never sent to our servers, and never shared with any third party.
4. Your choices and consent
You control cookies in several ways:
- Consent banner — where required (for example in the EEA and UK), non-essential cookies are only set after you accept. You may change or withdraw consent at any time through the cookie settings link, and withdrawal is as easy as giving consent.
- Browser settings — every major browser lets you block or delete cookies. The tools on this site continue to work with cookies disabled.
- Clearing localStorage — clearing site data in your browser removes all stored preferences.

5. GDPR (EEA and UK)
Our legal basis for essential cookies is legitimate interest in operating the site securely. For analytics and advertising cookies, the legal basis is your consent. You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict or object to the processing of your personal data, and the right to data portability and to lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority. 6. CCPA / CPRA (California)
We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined by the CCPA, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. California residents have the right to know what personal information is collected, to request deletion, to correct inaccurate information, and not to be discriminated against for exercising those rights. To exercise any of them, or to submit a "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" request, use our contact page. We also honour Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals sent by your browser.
7. Third-party cookies
Cookies set by Google Analytics and Google AdSense are controlled by Google, not by us. We cannot read them, and their use is governed by Google's own privacy policy. If additional third-party services are added in future, this page will be updated before they go live.
8. Changes to this policy
We will update this page whenever our use of cookies changes, and the "last updated" date at the top will reflect the revision. Material changes affecting consent will be surfaced through the consent banner.
