Are my files uploaded to a server?

No. Image, PDF and text tools run entirely in your browser using JavaScript, the Canvas API and pdf-lib. Your files are read into memory on your own device, processed there, and written back out as a download. You can verify this yourself in your browser's network panel — no upload request is made.

Can I use these tools with confidential documents?

Yes, and that is one of the main reasons they exist. Because nothing is transmitted, you can safely work with contracts, payslips, medical records, client photos and unpublished drafts.

There is no artificial limit. The practical ceiling is your device's available memory. Very large files (hundreds of megabytes) may be slow on older phones because the processing happens locally.

Not currently. Every tool runs client-side, so there is no server endpoint to expose. If you need programmatic access to something specific, get in touch and tell us the use case.
